Abstract: A gripping device has a base element, a gripping element, and a flexible cord. The base element is adapted to be attached to the portable electronic device, and the gripping element is shaped to be gripped by the user. The flexible cord is connected to the base element and the gripping element, to be inserted between two of the user's fingers. As a result, the gripping device enables the user to hold the portable electronic device via the gripping device using just two fingers.
