    摘要: An amusement system features an interactive floor with an array of panels laid out in one or more grids to collectively define an interactive floor surface, an illumination system operable to individually illuminate each panel, and a sensing system operable to detect presence of any participant atop any panel. A base frame of the interactive floor is composed of a plurality of base modules seated on a subfloor, and supporting a respective panel for one or more cells of the interactive floor. The base modules are not directly fastened together, and instead are only intercoupled by perimeter seals applied over peripheral regions of the panels of neighbouring modules. Separation of the modules is constrained by surrounding walls of a room fully occupied by the interactive floor. In gameplay, some panels are distinctively illuminated as hazards to be avoided by participants, subject to penalty.

    摘要: An amusement attraction features a wall structure, a respective set of illuminable handholds distributed over a wall surface of at least one upright wall of the structure, a floor surface residing adjacent to the upright wall on a side thereof faced by the wall surface, and one or more detection devices operable to detect landing of a participant on the floor surface during attempted traversal of the wall surface. A controller is operable to illuminate the handholds in different colour-coded patterns. Each pattern includes illumination of “authorized” handholds in a first colour, illumination of “prohibited” handholds in a second colour, and illumination of “targeted” handholds in a third colour. In a game-play session, participants are tasked with grasping of the targeted handholds while traversing the wall structure, with penalties applied for detected landing of participants on the floor surface and gripping of prohibited handholds.

Each device comprises either a beam emitter operable to transmit a respective visible beam, or a beam receiver operable to detect receipt thereby of a visible beam. The arrayed devices are setup in co-operable pairs, of which each co-operable pair comprises a beam emitter in one of said arrays and a corresponding beam receiver in the other of said arrays. A controller operably connected to the arrayed devices is configured to selectively activate and deactivate said beam emitters to cause transmission of visible beams from said beam emitters to said corresponding beam receivers, and to monitor for breaking of any of said visible beams by any of said participants.
