Abstract:
An AC adapter (electronic device) comprises a coil spring (elastic member), an engagement member, and an AC plug in which a guide groove is formed in a holding portion thereof. One end portion of the coil spring is fixed in the holding portion, and the other end portion of the coil spring is fixed in a case. One end portion of the engagement member is engaged with the guide groove of the holding portion. The engagement place of the one end portion of the engagement member and the fixation place of the one end portion of the coil spring sandwich a central axis of a rotary shaft and are symmetric with respect to the central axis. The other end portion of the engagement member is engaged with a hole portion formed in the case. The guide groove engaged with the one end portion of the engagement member is shaped like a heart so as to rotate the AC plug. A heart-shaped concave portion of the guide groove functions as a fixing groove portion for temporarily fixing the AC plug in a position where the AC plug is rotated nearly 90 degrees.
Abstract:
A printer can print to paper with a narrow width while maintaining a print format with good legibility without changing the application program and printer driver installed on the host computer. The control method of a printer that prints based on print data 5 sent from a host computer 3 has a step S105 of extracting data attributes contained in the print data 5 and assigning the print data 5 to data segment areas for each data attribute; a step of setting the data segment areas to specific printing areas based on the data attribute; an actual print data generating step (steps S122, S107, S133, S134, S111) of converting the print data 5 assigned to the data segment areas to actual print data according to the data attributes; and a printing step S113 of printing the actual print data in the printing areas.
Abstract:
An engine cooling device includes: a water pump pressure-feeding a common coolant to plural coolant circulation paths; an engine including an engine main body; a water-cooled header cooling an exhaust system of the engine by use of the coolant, a heat capacity of the water-cooled header being smaller than that of the engine main body; an ECU and a thermostat determining whether or not the coolant is allowed to flow through the fifth and sixth coolant circulation paths among the plural coolant circulation paths on the basis of a given determination value. The given determination value relates to an amount of heat transferred from the exhaust gas to the water-cooled header.

An oil pan is provided below a crankcase of an engine. The oil pan has an oil reservoir in its upper case. An oil discharge pipe is located within the oil reservoir, the oil discharge pipe extending from an oil separator of a PCV system. The oil reservoir protrudes inward of an inner wall surface of a lower case. The oil reservoir has an oil drain hole on a bottom surface at its inwardly protruding portion. The oil reservoir communicates with a lower chamber through the oil drain hole.

A transmission including: a sun gear forwardly and reversely rotatable by a driving force; a rotary member being forwardly and reversely rotatable, and having a projecting portion; a clutch causing the rotary member to be forwardly rotated and reversely rotated, and not causing the rotary member to be reversely rotated when a predetermined torque is applied; a planetary gear rotatably supported by the rotary member, meshed with and revolved around the sun gear, and rotated by a rotation of the sun gear; a transmission gear meshed with the planetary gear and rotated when the planetary gear is positioned at a predetermined revolution position; a stopper inhibiting the rotary member from being reversely rotated at a rotation position; a switch including a switch lever which the projecting portion contacts when the rotary member is rotated, and detecting a rotational position of the rotary member, the switch permitting the swinging of the switch lever caused by the projecting portion when the rotary member is forwardly rotated and restricting the swinging of the switch lever caused by the projecting portion when the rotary member is reversely rotated; and a saving mechanism saving the switch lever from being forcedly swung when the rotary member is reversely rotated.
Abstract:
In a multicylinder internal combustion engine including a turbocharger, the turbocharger employs a twin-entry turbo where a turbine includes two exhaust gas inflow ports. A first exhaust passage guides an exhaust gas discharged from a first cylinder group of the internal combustion engine to one exhaust gas inflow port of the turbocharger. A second exhaust passage guides an exhaust gas discharged from a second cylinder group of the internal combustion engine to the other exhaust gas inflow port of the turbocharger. An exhaust gas collecting portion of the first exhaust passage and an exhaust gas collecting portion of the second exhaust passage each include an air-fuel ratio sensor. This configuration allows efficiently contact of the exhaust gas on an element portion of the air-fuel ratio sensor, thus accurately detecting an air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas at an upstream side of a catalyst for each cylinder.
Abstract:
A music box includes a plurality of star wheels, a plurality of sun wheels, a drive unit, a plurality of anchoring members, a plurality of vibration valves, a rotating disk, a detection unit, and a control unit. Each of the plurality of anchoring members is configured to engage one of a plurality of protruding parts of the plurality of star wheels. The rotating disk is configured to rotate according to a rotation of an axis. The rotating disk is formed with a plurality of slits arrayed in a circumferential direction of the rotating disk. The detection unit is configured to detect a passage of one or more of the plurality of slits. The control unit is configured to control one or more of the plurality of anchoring members to disengage one of the plurality of protruding parts, based on a detection result of the detection unit.

A rubber key device is provide with a key top member, multiple rubber keys, a click feel generating mechanism and a load transmitting mechanism. When a depression area of the key top member is depressed by a user, the key top member is rotated to depress a top face of a rubber key via the load transmitting mechanism. The load transmitting mechanism transmits the load caused by the depression of the depression area to the top face of the corresponding rubber key such that the load is transmitted to only a substantially central portion of the top face of the corresponding one of the multiple rubber keys regardless of the depression amount of the depression area.
Abstract:
A paper feed unit, which is provided with a paper feed roller disposed such that an outer circumferential surface thereof contacts stacked sheets of paper so as to feed each sheet of paper by rotating, a separating pad having elasticity configured to press a sheet of paper being forwarded by the paper feed roller against the outer circumferential surface of the paper feed roller from a side of the sheet of paper opposite to the other side contacting the outer circumferential surface of the paper feed roller, a holder that supports the separating pad, and a biasing device that biases the holder so as to press the separating pad against the outer circumferential surface of the paper feed roller, for separating each sheet of paper from the stacked sheets by the rotation of the paper feed roller in cooperation with the separating pad and thus feeding the sheet of paper.
