    摘要: A processing buffer unit stores an audio signal. A pitch calculation unit and a pitch cycle correction unit calculate a multiple of N as the number of samples in a pitch cycle of the audio signal, in which N is an integer equal to or more than 1. A processing control unit and a start-position movement amount correction unit sequentially determine, as a sample in a start position of a compression process in a time axis domain of the audio signal, a (multiple of N)-th sample from a start position immediately before the start position. An operation unit compresses samples in a predetermined number times the pitch cycle from the sample in the start position in a time axis domain, and sets the number of samples after the compression to be the multiple of N. The present technology, for example, may be applied to an audio signal processing apparatus.

    摘要: There are provided brominated styrene polymer particles whose hue is good and handling is easy and which contain fine particles and big particles only in a small amount. Such polymer particles are prepared by adding to a latex of a polymer obtained by emulsion polymerization of brominated styrene a specific amount of (A) an organic solvent sparingly soluble in water and capable of dissolving the polymer and a specific amount of (B) an organic solvent miscible with the organic solvent (A) in any ratio but sparingly soluble in water and incapable of dissolving the polymer and mixing the mixture, and then adding a coagulant and heat treating the mixture.

    摘要: A highlight portion is detected to a high accuracy from acoustic signals in say an event, and an index is added to the highlight portion. In an acoustic signal processing apparatus 10, a candidate domain extraction unit 13 retains a domain, a length of which with short-term amplitudes as calculated by an amplitude calculating unit 11 not being less than an amplitude threshold value is not less than a time threshold value, as a candidate domain. A feature extraction unit 14 extracts sound quality featuring quantities, relevant to the sound quality, from the acoustic signals, to quantify the sound quality peculiar to a climax. A candidate domain evaluating unit 15 calculates a score value, indicating the degree of the climax, using featuring quantities relevant to the amplitude or the sound quality for each candidate domain, in order to detect a true highlight domain, based on the so calculated score value. An index generating unit 16 generates and outputs an index including the start and end positions and the score values of the highlight domain.

    摘要: An emulsion polymerization method for a brominated styrene is provided in which upon emulsion polymerizing a brominated styrene, an organic solvent which dissolves the brominated styrene and is sparingly soluble in water is added in an amount of 1 to 500 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the brominated styrene. According to this method, brominated polystyrenes can be produced which have acceptable hues and excellent physical properties and smell no offensive odor during the step of molding.
