    摘要: A liquid crystal display device (100) according to the present invention includes a plurality of pixels arrayed in a matrix, n number of the pixels (n is an even number of 4 or greater) being included in a color display pixel (CP). The liquid crystal display device includes an active matrix substrate (10) including a plurality of scanning lines (12) extending in a row direction and a plurality of signal lines (13) extending in a column direction; and a signal line driving circuit (3) that supplies, as a display signal, a gray scale voltage of a positive or negative polarity to each of the plurality of signal lines. The plurality of signal lines include a first type of signal line (13a) which does not intersect another signal line, and a second type of signal line (13b) which intersects a signal line adjacent thereto outside a display area in the state where an insulating film (16) is interposed therebetween. The active matrix substrate further includes a correction line (40) which is provided in the vicinity of an intersection region (IR) where the second type of signal line intersects the adjacent signal line, is electrically separated from the plurality of signal lines, and is at a floating potential.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes: scanning wires, provided so as to correspond to a plurality of pixels disposed in a matrix manner, to which scanning signals are applied; and signal wires to which data signals are applied, wherein the scanning wires and the signal wires cross each other. A dummy pixel driven by a dummy signal wire is provided externally adjacent to an endmost pixel column. This brings about a matrix type liquid crystal display device that equalizes capacitive conditions of all the signal wires to each other and can prevent deterioration of display quality that is brought about by a specific portion differently displayed.

    摘要: According to the invention, after a transparent electrode is vapor-deposited over the entire color-filter side surface, a non-conductive film is laid where the presence of the transparent electrode causes problems. That is, this non-conductive film is formed of the same material and at the same time as an alignment regulation film over the whole or a part of the area where exposure of the transparent electrode causes problems so as to seal the transparent electrode there. This makes it possible to prevent the above-mentioned problems caused when the transparent electrode is vapor-deposited over the entire surface, and simultaneously to enhance the patterning accuracy up to the exposure accuracy (of the order of several μm) of proximity or the like so as to realize a product with a narrow frame.
