Abstract:
A color conversion device generates color data in a second color gamut based on first converted color data and input color data, which are obtained from input color data in a first color gamut, and outputs the color data in the second color gamut. The color conversion device includes a first color mapping unit which generates the first converted color data by mapping the input color data into the second color gamut; a color mixing unit which generates color data by mixing the first converted color data and second converted color data at a ratio corresponding to the first color gamut and the second color gamut; and a color data output unit which outputs the color data.
Abstract:
At least three heads are mounted on a rotary drum. Between the first and third heads which are located in close proximity to each other and have different azimuth angles, a minute height difference is formed in the rotation shaft direction of the rotary drum. Signals of a plurality of data rates are recorded and reproduced by using the first and second heads or the first and third heads. Two heads having the same azimuth angle are disposed on the rotary drum so as to be opposed each other at a central angle of 180°. In search speed reproduction, search data are reproduced by the two heads. Tracks are divided in the unit of plural tracks so as to form track sets. Search data areas of each track set are disposed at a position of each track which is separated from the edge of a tape by a predetermined distance. In search speed reproduction, the phases of the tracks and the heads are controlled, and all effective data of the search data areas are reproduced by plural scans of the heads.
Abstract:
A recording apparatus for recording digital signals to plural tracks formed sequentially on a tape using plural heads includes a first selector for selecting the first through n track sets, continuous tracks within the plural tracks formed on the tape. A disposer disposes the first through k separated high speed reproduction data areas to the same positions in each of the m tracks comprising the first through n track sets. A first recording unit records the same high speed reproduction data to the same track position in at least the tracks having the same azimuth within the m*k high speed reproduction data areas belonging to the same track set. A second selector selects the n+1 through n+N, each track set comprising M tracks selected from among the tracks to which the high speed reproduction data areas are not disposed. A second disposer disposes a continuous very-high speed reproduction data area to the same position in each of the M tracks forming the n+1 through n+N track sets. A second recorder record the same very-high speed reproduction data to the M very-high speed reproduction data areas belonging to the same track set within the M*N very-high speed reproduction data areas belonging to the n+1 to n+N track sets.
Abstract:
Recording apparatus for recording video signal on a tape by helical scan heads has a special frame data detector for detecting a special frame data that can be processed during a reproducing operation, without any additional data, to reproduce an image, a memory for storing the special frame data, and inserting arrangement for inserting a selected track after a predetermined number of tracks. One selected track is written with a portion of the special frame data repeatedly, and another selected track is written with another portion of the special frame data repeatedly, and so on. During the high speed reproducing mode, various portions of the special frame data as obtained from a number of selected tracks are gathered to form an image.
Abstract:
A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus which converts a video signal to an FM signal and records the FM signal on a magnetic recording medium has a filter which eliminates an upper sideband component of the FM signal before recording so as to thereby enhance an increase of the levels of the lower sideband components of the reproduced and thereby improve its S/N ratio FM signal.
Abstract:
In a video signal recording/reproducing apparatus for recording and reproducing two-channel component signals, input two-channel component signals are processed separately from each other by two recording signal processing circuits to be recordable two-channel component signals. The recordable two-channel component signals are exchanged at predetermined intervals by a first switching circuit to be two combined signal each containing the recordable two-channel component signals which appear at periods corresponding to the exchanging invervals. The two combined signals are recorded on a recording medium via recording heads and reproduced from the recording medium via reproducing heads. The reproduced two combined signals are exchanged at the predetermined intervals by a second switching circuit to be the recordable two-channel component signals, which are thereafter processed separately from each other by two reproduced signal processing circuit to be the original two-channel component signals.
Abstract:
A video tape recorder which records video signals on a magnetic tape in such a manner that a first signal having luminance information and a second signal having chrominance information are recorded alternately on each track and the first signal recorded on each track is adjacent to the first signal recorded on an adjacent track and the second signal recorded on each track is adjacent to the second signal recorded on the adjacent track. The first signal and the second signal are exchanged every predetermined period L to obtain two combined signals each composed of the first and second signals which occur alternately at intervals of the predetermined period L.
Abstract:
A comb filter device has two operation modes, one mode being a conventional comb filter when input signals have high correlation between sequential lines, and the other mode being a simple amplifier when input signals have low or no line correlation. Therefore, this comb filter has little deterioration of vertical resolution of a television picture.
Abstract:
The ultrasonic wave generator incorporates an ultrasonic-frequency vibratory member of cylindrical shape from which ultrasonic waves are produced, and the vibratory member is securely connected of its outer cylindrical surface to the mechanical vibration output end of a metallic block amplifier member which in turn is connected to an ultrasonic electromechanical transducer of the piezoelectric type, etc. The cylindrically shaped vibratory member effects a motion of flexural vibrations in the radial direction throughout its extensive areas, producing large-amplitude ultrasonic waves.
