    摘要: A video signal recording and reproducing system enables recording and reproducing of a video signal with high quality. The system includes a recording system for recording the video signal on a record medium by a median filter and a reproducing system for reproducing the video signal from the record medium. The recording system separates a brightness signal and a color signal from an interlaced scanning signal. The recording system divides picture elements of each line into two phases by sorting the elements such that an element is put into one phase and the next element into the other. The recording system then carries out two-dimensional subsampling to the brightness signal and the color signal to reduce the amount of data. Then, the recording system compresses and time-division multiplexes the brightness signal and the color signal to provide a video signal to be recorded onto a record medium. The reproducing system separates the brightness signal and the color signal from a video signal read out from the record medium, and then interpolates picture elements into the two signals to obtain sequential scanning RGB signals for 525 scanning lines.

    摘要: A video signal recording apparatus is provided with first and second channels for transmitting an input video signal. The first channel has a line memory for conducting a 1H delay on data and a time-base-extension line memory for conducting time base extension on the data with the 1H delay. The data subjected to the time base extension undergoes D/A conversion to be an output of the first channel. On the other hand, the second channel does not have a line memory for a 1H delay, and the video signal without delay is subjected to time base extension and undergoes D/A conversion to be an output of the second channel. In the arrangement, odd lines and even lines respectively contained in adjoining two frames in each channel are reversed such that in a certain frame, odd lines of the input video signal are transmitted through the first channel with even lines through the second channel. In the next frame, even lines are transmitted through the first channel with odd lines through the second channel. Thus, influences on the reproduced picture due to the difference of circuit characteristics is averaged and the perception to unevenness of color or brightness is avoided.

    摘要: A signal from an input terminal (1) is supplied to a video signal processing circuit (2) which derives a carrier chrominance signal. The carrier chrominance signal is supplied through a low-pass filter (3) to an A/D converter circuit (4). A signal converted by the A/D converter circuit (4) is supplied to a bandpass filter (5) which limits the band of the chrominance signal. A signal from the bandpass filter (5) is supplied to a decoder circuit (6) which alternately derives color difference signals (R-Y) and (B-Y). The signal from the decoder circuit (6) is supplied to a decimation filter (7) which effects a decimation. The signal thus decimated is supplied to a multiplexer (8) and thereby generated as 2-bit series data. A signal from the multiplexer (8) is supplied to a CNR (chroma noise reducer) circuit (9). Thus, the number of bits can be reduced without reducing the number of lines of a chroma signal and data gradation.
