摘要: A control system for a beam index cathode ray tube momentarily gates or turns off all beam current at the transition from one color modulating signal to another. The resulting dip in the electron beam density, as it scans across an index phosphor stripe located between adjacent color phosphor areas, produces a substantially corresponding dip in the index signal derived from excitation of the index phosphor stripe by the electron beam. The dip in the index signal is detectable as an indication of the phase of the index signal substantially independent of differences in the amplitude of the electron beam current.

摘要: The present invention relates to a video projector type television receiver in which a prism plate is disposed in front of a color cathode ray tube, a projection lens is located in front of the prism plate and transparent liquid is injected into the space between the color cathode ray tube and the prism plate and the space between the prism plate and the projection lens. So, according to the present invention, since a difference between the refractive indexes of the transparent liquid and each component is not so large as that between the refractive indexes of the air and each component, it is possible to reduce a reflection on each boundary surface and also it is possible to prevent a multiple reflection image from being caused and a light amount from being lost greatly. Furthermore, owing to the liquid cooling effect of the transparent liquid, it is possible to suppress the thermal expansion of each portion so that the resultant influence such as the change of optical path and so on can be reduced.

摘要: Herein disclosed is a retaining device for retaining a generally flat elongated part of a magnetic disc recording and reproducing apparatus. The lever retaining device is used to retain a disc eject lever in position on a bearing member of a disc player while preventing the same from slipping out of the position. Two guide pins are anchored upright on the bearing member of the disc player at a predetermined spacing from each other and have circumferential grooves near the heads thereof. Two slots are formed in the disc eject lever for allowing the two guide pins to extend therethrough when the eject lever is placed on the bearing member of the disc player. A generally flat elongated retainer member made of a thin elastic plate is formed at both its ends with engagement means for engagement with the circumferential grooves of the guide pins, when it is placed on the disc eject lever, to retain the disc eject lever. The engagement means of the retainer member includes a pair of keyhole-shaped holes having wider portions arranged at a greater spacing than that of the guide pins for allowing the guide pins to easily extend therethrough when the retainer member is slightly bent, and narrower portions arranged at a spacing substantially equal to that of the guide pins for snugly fitting therein the circumferential grooves of the guide pins when the retainer member is allowed to extend flatly on the disc eject lever.

摘要: A method for finish coating on polyurethane formed articles, which comprises formulating a finish coating composition so as to have a content of pyrrolidone or its derivative represented by the general formula ##STR1## in which R stands for hydrogen or an alkyl group having at the most 4 carbon atoms, in an amount of 5-40% by weight upon the coating, applying this finish coating composition on the polyurethane formed article directly and heating the so called polyurethane formed article at a temperature of at least 50.degree. C. but lower than the thermal deformation temperature of the polyurethane formed article, said method being capable of attaining a coating layer exhibiting both the properties for a primer coat, namely, a better adhesion onto polyurethane formed articles, and for a finish coat, namely, better weather resistance, higher chemical resistance, favorable appearance and so on, with only a single application and permitting thus to dispense with the primer coating and the heat drying procedure therefor.

摘要: An outboard motor with an engine where the exposed ends of the crankshaft and camshaft project downward toward the bottom surface of the engine. An accommodation chamber is recessed within the bottom surface of the engine. A chain driven camshaft drive mechanism fits within this accommodation chamber. An oil pump, mounted below the accommodation chamber, is driven by the crankshaft. The bottom end of the crankshaft is sandwiched between the bottom surface of the engine and an oil seal housing. The oil seal housing fits within a recessed opening in a plate-like engine holder positioned below the engine. A plurality of positioning and fastening bosses are used to align and fix the oil seal housing to the engine. When the engine is removed from the outboard motor, its bottom surface is flat enabling the engine sit upright on a workbench.
