摘要： A grease composition contains a mixture of a lubricating base oil, an ester-terminated polyamide and at least one polyolefin. The ester-terminated polyamide has the formula: R1-O—CO—R2-CO—[NH—R3-NH—CO—R2-CO]n-O—R1. R1 contains 4-22 carbon atoms, R2 contains 4-42 carbon atoms, R3 contains 2-9 carbon atoms and n is an integer in the range of 1-20. The grease composition can be used for lubricating a mechanical component having a metal surface and/or for protecting a mechanical component having a metal surface against corrosion, wear and/or fretting.

The thickener comprises an ester terminated oligomer which has the general formula: “R1-O—[CO—R2-CO—NH—R3-NH—CO—R2-CO]n-O—R1”. “R1” represents a hydrocarbon group containing 4-22 carbon atoms. “R2” represents a hydrocarbon group containing 4-42 carbon atoms. “R3” represents a hydrocarbon group containing 2-9 carbon atoms. “n” represents an integer in the range of 1-20. The weight ratio between the lubricating base oil and the ester terminated oligomer (oil/oligomer) is larger than 1. The grease composition can be used for lubricating a mechanical component having a metal surface and/or for protecting a mechanical component having a metal surface against corrosion, wear and/or fretting.

摘要： A deep groove ball bearing providing an inner ring, an outer ring and a plurality of balls being arranged between the inner ring and the outer ring. The inner ring and the outer ring each include a raceway for the plurality of balls. Each raceway encompasses the plurality of balls symmetrically. The deep groove ball bearing is lubricated by a lubricant being arranged on each axial side of the plurality of balls. The raceways are offset in the same axial direction from the axial center of the inner ring and the outer ring such that the raceways are offset to the axial side of the deep groove ball bearing where the shear rate acting on the lubricant is higher than on the other axial side of the deep groove ball bearing.
