摘要： An electrostatic spray head is charged with high voltage from a high voltage source. As a liquid to be sprayed is supplied to the spray head, the liquid is atomized predominately due to the high voltage. The spray head is located within or closely adjacent to a gas stream flowing along a path which extends in the spraying direction, so that at least some of the atomized liquid becomes entrained in the gas stream. The gas stream has a lower velocity region and a high velocity region, of which the lower velocity region is transversally closer to the spray head.
