    摘要: A method of compacting material such as but not limited to cathode material for electrochemical cells. A mixture is inserted into a die cavity and the mixture is compacted into a disk shape by the action of a first plunger pressing down on the material and a second plunger pressing upwardly on the material. Flashing of material during ejection of the disk from the die is prevented by fitting a polymeric sleeve around the outer surface of the first plunger. The sleeve flexes to bulge outwardly and does not enter the die cavity during compaction of material and returns to its original position during ejection of the compacted disk from the die. Contact between the disk and sleeve prevents flashing during ejection. Alternatively, a polymeric seal ring is placed around the outer surface of the first plunger. The disk presses against the seal ring preventing flashing of material during ejection.

A bowstring has at least a portion of itself trained about a rotational assembly and is anchored to a cam assembly. The cam assembly has a bowstring anchor projection and an anchor cable anchor projection for anchoring the bowstring and the anchor cable, respectively and an anchor cable track for taking in the anchor cable as the bow is being drawn. The cam assembly also has a bowstring track for letting out bowstring cable as the bow is being drawn and a mechanical linkage permitting limited relative motion between the bowstring cable track and the anchor cable track.

Desirably, at least one dampener, and preferably a plurality of individual dampeners may be disposed in the area of the connection of a limb to a riser or handle portion of the bow to reduce vibrations transferred to the riser by the limb. Additionally, the archery bow preferably has a cam adapted to receive a dampener to reduce the noise and vibration passing between the cam and the limb. Any number of dampeners may be used in combination, or the dampeners may be used separately as desired.

    摘要: A compound bow having a pair of cam modules or secondary cams with at least one cam module having a draw stop integral therewith to engage a harness string of the compound bow at the optimum draw length of the bowstring to prevent this optimum draw length from being exceeded and to efficiently and repeatably store the same quantity of energy in the compound bow. The integral draw stop decreases vibration of the bow in use and cannot be moved to thereby insure that the optimum draw length can be readily achieved throughout the life of the bow. A floor or post is also preferably provided on each cam module to firmly hold and retain one end of a harness string. A track formed in the cam module, which increasingly receives the harness string as a bowstring is drawn, preferably has an inside surface adjacent to a primary cam substantially perpendicular to its axis of rotation and an inclined outside surface spaced from the primary cam providing a track having a width at its outer edge greater than the diameter or width of the harness string to more smoothly receive the harness string within the track to reduce friction between them and thereby reduce string wear and provide an extremely smooth draw of the bowstring.

In addition, the suspension system includes a dampening member positioned and extending radially between the bushing and the limb for decoupling the axle shaft from the limb and dampening vibrational energy exerted through the axle shaft.
