    Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for inserting an intraocular lens (IOL) into an eye may be provided. An example haptic optic management system may comprise a first cam assembly comprising a first cam body portion, an opening in the first cam body portion, and haptic folder arms disposed in the opening. The haptic optic management system may further comprise a second cam assembly positioned on one side of the first cam assembly, wherein the second cam assembly comprises a second cam body portion, an opening in the second cam body portion, and optic folders disposed in the opening. The haptic optic management system may further comprise a central plate for holding an intraocular lens in the opening of the second cam body portion, wherein the central plate is disposed between the first cam assembly and the second cam assembly.

An example optic management system may include a housing having a first end and a second end and a first side extending between the first end the second end. The housing may include a cavity formed in the first side of the housing and configured to accommodate an intraocular lens, wherein the cavity comprises a first end portion, a second end portion, and a central portion. The housing may further include a bore formed in the housing, wherein a first portion of the bore extends from the first end to the cavity. The haptic optic management system may further include a ceiling disposed on the first side of the housing. The haptic optic management system may further include arms pivotably coupled to the housing in the cavity.

    Abstract: An ocular implant is provided. In some embodiments, the ocular implant includes a body that is curved about a longitudinal central axis and a distal body portion that defines a longitudinal channel including a channel opening. The implant is sized and configured such that the ocular implant assumes an orientation in which the channel opening is adjacent a major side of Schlemm’s canal when the ocular implant is disposed in Schlemm’s canal. Methods for delivering ocular implants into Schlemm’s canal are also provided. Some methods include covering openings in the ocular implant, advancing the implant into Schlemm’s canal while at least some of the openings are covered, and uncovering the openings while the distal portion of the implant is disposed in Schlemm’s canal.
