    摘要: A patient positioning couch includes an illumination apparatus having at least one light source that is arranged in the patient positioning couch. The patient positioning couch is capable of being placed in an examination area of a medical device. Through the arrangement of the at least one light source of the illumination apparatus of the patient positioning couch, it is always ensured that the illumination does not lose its location relative to a patient or another object positioned on the patient positioning couch, even if the position of the patient positioning couch changes, e.g. if the patient positioning couch is moved into or out of the examination area. At the same time an especially space-saving illumination of the examination area can thus be achieved.

    摘要: A local coil unit for a magnetic resonance apparatus, which radiates a radio-frequency field into an examination subject, has a housing and at least a part of the housing is formed of an insulating dielectric material that passively compensates for an inhomogeneity in the high-frequency field in the subject. The material has a relative dielectric value εr of greater than 50, preferably greater than 100, and a dielectric loss factor tan δ of less than 2.5×10−2, preferably less than 1×10−3. In the dielectric material displacement currents are generated which create an additional magnetic field that compensates for the minima in the B1 field as a result of the eddy currents arising in the patient due to the radio-frequency radiation.

    摘要: For generating of magnetic resonance exposures of an examination subject, a dielectric element with high dielectric constant is positioned on the examination subject to locally influence the B1 field distribution, the dielectric element being formed primarily of material whose magnetic resonance line(s) is/are shifted by at least a specific degree relative to the magnetic resonance line of water protons for a given magnetic field. In a measurement for generation of a magnetic resonance exposure a measurement sequence is used, such in the acquisition of the raw image data the dielectric material of the dielectric element supplies no signal contributions for the image generation and/or the signals caused by the dielectric material of the dielectric element can be separated from the signals caused by the examination subject.

    摘要: In a shim board system with at least one shim board formed by an insulating substrate and at least one conductor trace on the substrate for generation of a shim magnetic field, in particular for homogenization of the basic magnetic field of a magnetic resonance apparatus, the insulating substrate is fashioned as a mesa in at least one segment similar to the conductor trace and following the curve of the conductor trace. Upon sealing, this allows a good saturation of the shim board system with sealing compound.
