Abstract: A tire mounting device utilizing a locking sleeve wherein the sleeve has an inner diameter substantially equal to the outer diameter of the bottom of the rim so as to encircle the rim and a width slightly greater than the internal separation of the tire beads when the latter are applied to the flanges of the rim, the sleeve being provided with a cross channel to permit the passage of an air passage.
