摘要: Cobrowsing web sites by two or more users is disclosed. For a cobrowsing session between a first client of a first user and a second client of a second user, the cobrowsing session is first initiated. The first user browses a web site on the first client. The first client sends to the second client a synchronization message. The synchronization message indicates one or more commands reflecting the browsing performed by the first user. The second client receives the synchronization message, and cobrowses the web site in accordance with the message and its included commands. Cobrowsing continues until the cobrowsing session is terminated. The commands of the synchronization message allow for fine granularity of cobrowsing.

摘要: A system and method of serverless peer-to-peer group management and maintenance is presented. Group formation and discovery of private, public, and enumerated groups are provided, as is a method of joining such a peer-to-peer group. Group information management provided by the present invention ensures that each node maintains a current database from the initial joining of the group through the run phase of membership. Group graph maintenance utilizes a group signature to ensure that partitions in a graph may be detected and repaired. The utility of connections within the graph are also monitored so that non-productive connections may be dropped to increase the efficiency of the group. The diameter of the graph is also monitored and adjusted to ensure rapid information transfer throughout the group. A disconnect procedure is used to maintain the graph integrity and prevent partitions resulting from the departure of a group member.

摘要: A vehicle arrangement includes a tow vehicle and a towed vehicle. The towed vehicle includes at least two wheels and at least one motor, with each motor being coupled with a corresponding wheel. A load sensing hitch between the tow vehicle and towed vehicle senses a lateral load and provides an output signal representing the sensed lateral load. An electrical processing circuit is coupled with the load sensing hitch, and actuates at least one motor, dependent upon the output signal.

摘要: A material transfer system including a first vehicle, a second vehicle and at least one towed container. The first vehicle has a material discharge device. The second vehicle can move in a forward direction and a reverse direction. The at least one towed container includes a first towed container. The first towed container is coupled to the second vehicle such that the first towed container follows the second vehicle when the second vehicle moves in the forward direction. A control system is coupled to either the second vehicle or the at least one towed container. The control system coordinates the movement of the second vehicle and the towed container relative to the material discharge device as the first vehicle is moving and the second vehicle is moving in the reverse direction

摘要: A wireless device that desires to be connected to a wireless network broadcasts itself and its capabilities to a network using an information element. The information element is provided with frames, such as management frames, in a channel that is not protected or encrypted. The information element is forwarded to one or more potential registrar devices. One of the registrar devices then provides configuration information to the enrollee, for example as a registrar information element. The configuration information may be passed out of band or in band, and may be passed using cryptography, which may involve public key cryptography, encryption with a PIN, or some other type of secure exchange.

摘要: A computer with an extensible framework for facilitating communication between a software component installed on the computer and a device driver that executes functions in response to vendor-specific command objects (e.g., OIDs). The framework defines data structures and a standardized format for defining and implementing private interfaces. After selecting a private interface that is commonly supported by a software component and a driver, a private communication path may be established by an operating system component to facilitate the transfer of command information from the software component to the driver. The private communication path allows commands packaged as OIDs to be routed from software components to intended drivers. By defining private interfaces which route commands from software components to intended drivers, the extensible framework mitigates potential incompatibilities that may arise when drivers created by different vendors include OIDs with the same OID value.

摘要: A location system is used in a vehicle moving within an area at a selected speed and in a selected direction. A heading sensor provides a heading signal representing the direction of movement of the vehicle. A speed sensor provides a speed signal based on available reference signals representing the speed of the vehicle. A storage device stores initial position data representing a selected initial position of the vehicle and checkpoint data representing a navigation checkpoint location. A database stores a plurality of records which each include geographic information data representing selective aspects of the area. A processor estimates a current position signal representing an estimated current position of the vehicle based on values of the heading signal, values of the speed signal, the initial position signal, and on previous values of the current position signal. Values of the current position signal correspond to records stored in the data base. A correction device selectively corrects the current position signal based on selected position inputs which indicate an approximate vehicle position relative to the navigation checkpoint location. An alerting device obtains an alerting signal indicating that the vehicle has reached a selected region within the area based on the current position signal and the geographic information data.
