    摘要: A bone plate for fixation of proximal humerus fractures comprises an elongated shaft portion having a first width and a head portion connected to the shaft portion having a second width greater than the first width. The head portion and the shaft portion define a common longitudinal axis. At least one first screw hole may be located in the head portion, and at least one second screw hole may be located in the shaft portion. At least one of the first and second holes is configured to engage a head of a bone screw to form an angularly stable connection with the bone screw.

    摘要: A bone fixation system has a bone implant with an implant body. The implant body defines an upper surface, a bone-facing surface spaced from the upper surface along a transverse direction, and at least one aperture defined by an inner wall. A bone fixation element is configured for insertion at least partially through the aperture. The bone fixation element defines a proximal end and a distal end spaced from the proximal end along a central axis. The bone fixation element has a head and a shaft that extends relative to the head toward the distal end. The head defines a first ridge, a second ridge spaced from the first ridge, and a groove disposed between the first and second ridges. The groove can receive at least a portion of the inner wall to couple the bone fixation element to the bone implant.

    摘要: Holder for tools and other objects is provided which substantially includes at least one rail having a uniform cross section along its longitudinal dimension and a plurality of holding devices fastened thereto. Each holding device is formed by a strip of determined length and width which is produced from resilient material and has fastening means at both ends. The fastening means are adapted to the rail and constructed for arrangement thereon. The holding device is bent in a U-shape and fastened at the rail so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the rail by its ends which form legs. The strip is constructed so that the center region of its length is narrower than the two end regions forming the legs and stiffening means are arranged on the inner side of the strip in the center of the wider end regions, which stiffening means project into the interior formed by the U-shaped strips and are directed toward the base of the rail.

    摘要: A device includes an elongated body configured to be coupled to a bone stabilization implant so that, when the bone stabilization implant is mounted to a target bone, the body extends away from the bone stabilization implant at an angle selected so that the elongated body passes into a target portion of bone. The body defines a lumen therein extending to an opening in a distal end of the body. The device also includes a deploying member housed within the lumen of body for movement between a first position and a second position. In addition, the device includes a plurality of wires coupled to the deploying member so that movement of the deploying member through the lumen moves the wires between an insertion position and a deployed position in which the distal ends of the wires penetrate a portion of bone adjacent to the distal end of the body.
