    摘要: A cooling arrangement is provided for the sealing members of a plastic bodied pump. The cooling arrangement comprises a metal cup-shaped member which is mounted to the pump housing to hold a stationary member of the seal. The metal member is exposed to the dry side of the seal and surrounds the drive shaft. A flinger, which may take the form of a disk, is carried on the shaft on the dry side of the seal closely adjacent to the exposed portion of the metal member to provide a localized air flow to assist in the cooling of the metal member, and thus, the seal members.

The arrangement includes a mounting clamp, which is fixed to the motor and includes means for fixing the motor to the carrier. The motor has a housing, which is eccentric in relation to its rotational axis and from which shaft projections protrude. The mounting clamp has two flanks located on each side of a motor receiving cavity. The flanks each have a recess for receiving one of the shaft projections of the motor. The mounting clamp further includes a pair of arms, which contact the motor in an elastic manner to block rotation of the motor about its rotational axis.

    摘要: A dosing unit for concentrate in a post-mix beverage dispenser is described which includes an enclosed cylinder space, and a pump piston with a bore running parallel with the axis. A control piston which is in contact with the input side shutoff of the cylinder space is disposed within and movable longitudinally of the bore in the pump piston. The control piston includes an intake opening, and in contact with the pump piston, forms an outlet opening, where the intake and the outlet openings are alternately opened or closed through axial movement of the control piston with respect to the cylinder space and the pump piston. The control piston movement is restricted with respect to the accelerator piston and constrained by axial impact points, so that an axial movement forced upon the control piston causes an impulse in both directions to open or close the intake or the outlet openings, after which by carry-over of the particular impact, the pump piston is moved axially the same distance. The dosing unit is mounted on a concentrate storage container with the intake opening thereof in liquid communication with a discharge opening in the storage container.

    摘要: A hydro-air jet assembly wherein a ball-shaped element has a first passageway therethrough communicating with an air supply and a second passage therethrough communicating with a water supply which is rotatably mounted in a housing and has a venturi nozzle secured to the ball to corotate therewith but which is adjustable in an axial direction with respect to the ball member providing constant water and air flow rates through the ball and nozzle assembly regardless of the angular position of the ball. A venturi nozzle holder is used which provides a novel means of securing the adjustable venturi nozzle to the ball member. The hydro-air fitting is to be attached to a wall of a tub or pool by means of a clamping arrangement consisting of an annular abutment surface on the housing which abuts against the exterior or back of the wall that the fitting is to be mounted on and an escutcheon ring which clamps against the inner or front surface of the wall being mounted on and which is secured to the hydro-air fitting by means of a threaded nut. The nut and escutcheon ring have mating spherical surfaces that allow alignment between the fitting in a bathtub wall of an uneven thickness such that a water-tight joint is provided between the hydro-air fitting and the wall.
