    摘要: The present embodiments are directed towards the transfer, retrieval and storage of flexible materials. In one embodiment, a system is provided that generally includes a hose retrieval system having a first hose gripper assembly. The first hose gripper assembly includes a pair of first grippers configured to move between a first open position and a first closed position in opposite crosswise directions relative to a longitudinal axis of a hose. Each first gripper includes a first L-shaped structure, and the first L-shaped structures are configured to overlap one another to define a first bending gap in the first closed position.

    摘要: A new and improved aircraft power connector, for electrical connection to an aircraft electrical connector, has incorporated thereon a dual-position mechanism which can effectively alter the engagement force level defined between the electrical connector contact pins of the aircraft power connector and the aircraft electrical connector. When the mechanism is disposed at a first position, the force level is relatively low so as to easily permit connection and disconnection, whereas when the mechanism is disposed at a second position, the force level is relatively high so as to ensure the connection of the aircraft power connector to the aircraft electrical connector and thereby prevent the inadvertent disconnection of the aircraft power connector from the aircraft electrical connector.

    摘要: A system and method for controlling a temperature indicator stick includes a housing having an interior configured to receive the temperature indicator stick configured to indicate a predetermined temperature through a physical change or a chemical when exposed to the predetermined temperature. A roller drive is supported by the housing to engage the temperature indicator stick. Accordingly, rotation of the drive roller causes a retraction or advancement of the temperature indicator stick to and from the interior of the housing. Additionally, the housing and temperature indicator stick may include a key system to keep the temperature indicator stick in a substantially fixed rotational position with respect to the housing as the temperature indicator stick advanced from and retracted into the housing.

    摘要: An asymmetrical chute system is for use in a strapping machine of the type for feeding a strapping material around a load, positioning, tensioning and sealing the strapping material around the load. The strapping machine has a feed head, a strap chute defining a strap path through which the strapping material is passed and a sealing head. The chute system includes a base, a stationary guard having an inclined wall extending, at least in part, over the strap path and a movable guard. The movable guard is movable relative to the base and the stationary guard into and out of engagement with the stationary guard inclined wall to open and close the strap path. When the movable guard is open, the inclined wall extends over the strap path so as to form a blind portion intersecting a line normal to the strap path.
