    摘要: A solid drill bit for machine tools. has a bit body and two movable inserts located a radial distance apart in insert seats of the bit body. The inserts have a rectangular or quadratic contour, project axially over the bit body with their major cutting edges and overlap in their working area. The outer movable insert projects radially beyond the periphery of the bit body with its outer cutting edge corner and with the adjoining minor cutting edge. Starting from the cutting edge corner, the minor cutting edge is inclined in the direction of the bit body at a setting angle of less than 3.2 °. The minor cutting edge has a guiding edge that is slidingly supported against the wall of the bore over at least part of its length due to a radially outwardly oriented thrust force.

    摘要: A double or multiple-edged drilling tool has a base body rotatable about a drilling axis, and at least two plate seats arranged on the front face for accommodating identical interchangeable cutting plates. The cutting plates each have a machining face, and a clearance face adjoining a principal cutting edge forming a cutting wedge, and a seat face facing away from the clearance face. A guiding land adjoins radially outwardly through each edge the machining face, the clearance face and optically the seat face. The cutting plates each have a hole for a retaining screw which is screwed into a threaded bore at the front face of the base body. The holes are aligned with their axis perpendicular to the clearance face of the associated cutting plates the threaded bores are aligned inclined to the drilling axis and inclined to each other in the base body.

    摘要: A cutting insert shapes metallic workpieces by chipping. The cutting insert is especially suited for use in solid drills or double-bit cutters. It has at least one cutting edge which is delimited by a chipping face and a flank extends between two cutting corners. The cutting edge includes two sections which form an obtuse angle and in the area of a roof-shaped tip merge into each other. The chipping face has a raised shaped chipping element which extends from the inside of the chipping face as far as the cutting edge, from where it reaches beyond the roof-shaped tip partially across the two sections of the cutting edge. The cutting edge sections and the adjoining chipping faces include a step delimiting the shaped chipping element, the edges of which step serve as additional cutting edges of the shaped chipping element.

    摘要: The invention relates to a dual-cutting drilling tool. The drilling comprises a base body (14) which is rotatable about a drill axis (36) and in which two plate seats (16) are arranged on the front face thereof for receiving identically configured alternating cutting plates (16). The alternative cutting plates are respectively provided on a main cutting edge (28) thereof with an adjacent first face (30), forming a cutting wedge, and a free surface (24). The main cutting edges (28) of the alternating cutting plates (20) complement each other in the region of a central, offset cutting part (28′), forming a cross-cutting edge which is interrupted by a center hole (60). The aim of the invention is to reduce the risk of breakage in the center area of the alternating cutting plates and to provide better guidance for the tool. According to the invention, slanting guiding inclinations (56) are provided on the free surface of the alternating cutting places (20), extending from an apex line (54) to the center corner (46) of the plates. The free surfaces (24) are positively inclined in a radially outer region in the direction of advancement and are negatively inclined in the region of the guiding inclinations (56) thereof.

The solid drill bit has a drill bit body (10) and two indexable inserts (20, 22) which are arranged at a radial distance from one another in a respective insert seat (16, 18) of the drill bit body (10) in the region of a chip flute (12, 14). The indexable inserts (20, 22) have an essentially quadratic contour. They project with their front-end main cutting edges (30, 34) axially beyond the drill bit body (10) and overlap one another radially in their active region. The radially outer indexable insert (22), with its outer insert corner (36) and with its adjoining secondary cutting edges (38) perpendicular to the relevant main cutting edge (34), projects radially beyond the circumference of the drill bit body. In order to permit burr-free through-drilling, the front-end main cutting edge (34) of the outer insert (22) is subdivided in its longitudinal extent into a radially inner working section (50) and a rectilinear peeling section (52) adjoining said working section (50) on the outside and extending up to the outer insert corner (36), said sections (50 and 52) enclosing a setting angle of 95° to 120° with one another.
