    摘要: A single-layer touch-sensor device having a calibration mechanism coupled therewith is described. Included is a charge measurement circuit coupled, by a pair of electrical traces, with a slider of the single-layer touch-sensor device. A pair of calibration capacitors is included, each calibration capacitor coupled, between the slider and the charge measurement circuit, with one of the pair of electrical traces. A pair of connection switches is also included, each connection switch coupled with one of the pair of calibration capacitors.

    摘要: An apparatus having a processing device for calibrating a touch-sensor device with calibration capacitors is described. Methods of calibrating the touch-sensor device using the same are also described. Processing device and multiple calibration capacitors are disposed on an integrated circuit (IC) die substrate. The processing device includes a measurement circuit to be coupled to a touch-sensor device and a switching circuit to selectively couple the calibration capacitors to the measurement circuit. The processing device is configured to calibrate the touch-sensor device by applying one or more capacitance touch values from one or more of the calibration capacitors using the switching circuit. The one or more capacitance touch values simulate a touch on the touch-sensor device.

The processing device determines a first coordinate of a conductive object proximate to the capacitive sense array based on the first plurality of signals and a second coordinate of the conductive object based on the second plurality of signals.
