Abstract: A method of reducing dispersion viscosity in a dispersion coating formulation is disclosed. The method comprises substituting a portion of the conventional PVDF in the formulation with a highly crystalline PVDF. The highly crystalline PVDF has a crystallinity 44% or greater (from X-ray diffraction). The highly crystalline PVDF imparts lower viscosity to the coating dispersion formulation.
