In another aspect of the present invention, an outfolding convertible roof employs a device for deterring member-to-member movement when fully raised. 摘要： A convertible top latch employing a linkage assembly and a driving mechanism is disclosed. The linkage assembly can be positioned on-center or over-center in a closed position. The linkage assembly can have an adjustable link. At least one link can remain the same and/or the latch member can move the same distance regardless of the linkage assembly being operated by a powered or manual actuator. A damping member can dampen movement of the top latch. The manual actuator can be biased to a specific orientation.
