    摘要: A method and system sharing a Bluetooth processor for FM functions are provided. The single chip may comprise an integrated Bluetooth radio, an integrated FM radio, and processor system. A processor in the processor system may be utilized for Bluetooth and FM data processing and may time multiplex between the Bluetooth and FM data processing based on interrupt signals. The processor may operate in a low power mode based on a clock signal generated from a low power oscillator. When a Bluetooth interrupt signal is received, the processor may enable Bluetooth data processing that may be based on a Bluetooth clock signal. When an FM interrupt signal is received, the processor may enable FM data processing that may be based on an FM clock signal. When data processing is complete, the processor may return to the low power mode operation.

    摘要: Aspects of a method and system for fast and reliable channel classification in Bluetooth networks to detect and avoid channel interferers may include one or more processors that may enable performance of signal strength measurements on received Bluetooth signals at a current selected frequency. At least one data packet received via the Bluetooth signals may be processed to determine the presence of bit errors. The processor(s) may enable characterization of the Bluetooth signals at the current selected frequency based on the signal strength measurements and/or the processing of the data packets. The current selected frequency may be selected during adaptive frequency hopping based on the characterization.

    摘要: A method and system is provided for enabling communication, where a FM radio system including an integrated FM radio transmitter and FM radio receiver may use an in-band FM or out of band transmitter to communicate a dynamically generated list with alternate local FM channels to an in-band or out of band receiver of another FM radio device with a FM radio receiver. The generated list of local FM channels may be ranked according to the least neighboring channel interference and may be selected for tuning the FM radio device. The FM radio system and the FM radio device may both scan to generate a substantially matched list of local FM channels. In response to detecting a new signal of a transmitted channel by the FM radio system, the FM radio device may tune to the same channel using an open loop, closed loop or semi-open loop method.

The identified idle intervals are used by the dual-mode BLE device to concurrently perform various BLE activities. For example, advertising packet transmissions, advertising packet scanning, connection setup, and/or data packet communication may be concurrently performed within identified idle intervals within the Bluetooth BR/EDR traffic communications. Packet transmission timing, advertising interval, scan window, and/or packet size are determined based on the identified idle intervals within the Bluetooth BR/EDR traffic communications. A scan window is adjusted based on timing of expected advertising transmissions and/or advertising interval(s) for saving power. BLE packets and Bluetooth BR/EDR packets may be detected in a single advertising channel. Maximal payload size is set based on the identified idle intervals within Bluetooth BR/EDR traffic communications. As a slave, the dual-mode BLE device updates connection parameters based on the identified idle intervals within Bluetooth BR/EDR traffic communications.
