摘要: Volatile organic compounds are removed from crude oil by adding an amount of stabilization energy to crude oil upstream of, or directly into, a crude oil stock storage tank or by recovering and condensing vapors from tank vent gas. Produced gas may be recovered as NGL in one or more cooling stages. Produced gas, whether partially recovered or not, may be used as fuel for the heater treater, other combustion device or compressed into a pipeline.

摘要: Rich natural gas is first compressed, then ambient air cooled and separated into lean natural gas, NGL and water. Hydrate formation during decompression of the lean gas is precluded by either heating the lean natural gas or mixing the lean natural gas with methanol or other additive before depressurization. Similarly, hydrate formation in the NGL is also precluded by either heating the NGL or mixing the NGL with methanol or other additive before depressurization. The NGL is conditioned for storage and transport in common propane tanks by a stabilizer or two-phase separator. The lean natural gas can be used for internal combustion, liquefied natural gas, compressed natural gas or liquid fuel processing.

摘要: Rich natural gas is first compressed, and then cooled by a series of heat exchangers and an ambient air cooler. The cooled mixture of natural gas, natural gas liquid (NGL), and water is first separated in a high-pressure three-phase separator. NGL flows through a depressurization valve and NGL is separated from gas in a second separator for storage and transport such as in a conventional propane tank. A resulting lean natural gas is suitably conditioned for internal combustion, compressed natural gas processing, or liquid fuel processing.

摘要: Rich natural gas is dried in a water scavenger unit, and then purified in a refluxed absorber. The refluxed stream for the absorber is a stream of predominantly methane condensed by cryogenic refrigeration. The refluxed absorber is operated below the critical point of methane, to allow condensation to occur. Liquefied natural gas is condensed in a cryogenic box, and then further cooled. Natural gas liquid from the refluxed absorber is stabilized for storage and transport.
