    摘要: A stator includes a stator core, a stator coil comprised of a plurality of electric wires, and at least one restraint. Each of the electric wires has a plurality of in-slot portions received in slots of the stator core and a plurality of turn portions that are located outside of the slots to connect the in-slot portions. The restraint is mounted to end parts of the turn portions belonging to a turn portion group of the electric wires to restrain relative radial movement between the turn portions of the turn portion group. All the turn portions of the turn portion group protrude from the same slot of the stator core. The end parts of the turn portions respectively adjoin the in-slot portions of the electric wires received in the same slot of the stator core and align with each other in a radial direction of the stator core.

    摘要: An electric rotating machine is provided which includes a stator in which a coil is so wound as to have an coil end and a coolant channel. The coolant channel has defined therein a flow path through which coolant flows and a flow separator disposed in the flow path and a first and a second coolant outlet. The flow separator works to separate a flow of the coolant into at least a first and a second coolant streams. The first coolant outlet communicates with the first coolant stream, while the second coolant outlet communicates with the second coolant stream. The first and second coolant outlets drain the coolant to different portions of the coil end, thereby cooling almost the whole of the coil end even when the electric rotating machine is tilted undesirably.

The remaining two segment legs respectively constitute fourth and third conductor layers of a second slot that is distant by one pole pitch, and have their respective tip portions mutually connected.

The turned portions 42 formed on axial opposite end sides of the stator core 12. The crank portion 44 which does not twist is formed at substantially the center of the turned portion 42. Steps are formed at sections of the turned portion 42 which protrude outside the stator core 12 from the slots 14 and 15. Further, the turned portion 42 of the wire 30 also has two steps 48 formed between the substantially central crank portion 44 and each of the steps 46 formed at the protruding sections of the turned portion 42.

    摘要: A stator for a multiple-phase rotary electric machine provided a stator core with slots and a coil formed of a plurality of windings for individual phases. Each winding has slot-accommodated portions held in different slots, turn portions connecting the slot-accommodated portions outside of the slots in an axial direction, and a return portion that connects two of the turn portions and changes a winding direction of the winding at given slots. The turn portions include specific turn portions which are the same in a circumferential position as the turn portion connected to the one of the return portion. The specific turn portions are located, in a radial direction, to be drawn apart from the rotor than the slot-accommodated portions connected to the specific turn portions.
