    摘要: A mask that determines an imaging range of an ocular fundus is disposed in the optical system at the position conjugate to the fundus. The size of the mask on the ocular fundus is calculated in accordance with the optical imaging parameters of the optical system and the diopter of a subject eye and the eye axial length thereof. Two points are specified on the image on the display screen. The actual distance between the specified points on the ocular fundus is calculated based on the calculated mask size on the ocular fundus, a coordinate distance of the mask on the display screen and a coordinate distance between the two specified points on the display screen. With such a constitution, the actual distance on the ocular fundus is derived from the optical imaging parameters in the optical system and the subject eye parameters, which affect the imaging magnification. This assures the precise measurement of the actual distance on the ocular fundus from the image on the display screen.

    摘要: An operational lever for a bush cutter includes a handle housed in a handle case, a throttle lever pivotally mounted to the handle, and a lock lever pivotally mounted to the handle. The operational lever further includes a torsional coil spring which exerts a resilient force on the lock lever. The lock lever is pivoted from an initial position to a pivoted position by an operator's palm. The throttle lever is then pivoted to a half-pivoted position by operator's fingers. When the palm is moved a small distance away from the handle case with the throttle lever held in the half-pivoted position, the lock lever is pivoted back towards the initial position by a resilient force of the spring. This causes a curved surface of a side protrusion portion of the lock lever to engage or abut on a side of a protrusion portion of the throttle lever. This arrangement is advantageous in that even when the operator takes her or his fingers off the throttle lever, the throttle lever is locked by a friction force produced between the curved surface and the side.

    摘要: An operation lever unit includes an operation handle attached to an operating rod of an engine-powered portable working machine. The operation handle is equipped with a throttle lever for regulating the power of an engine, a lock lever for holding the throttle lever in a desired position, and a secondary throttle adjustment lever for achieving a fine adjustment of the position of the throttle lever. To hold the throttle lever in the desired position, the throttle lever is forced against a portion of the operation handle by the action of a thrust cam mechanism disposed between the throttle lever and the lock lever. For achieving the fine adjustment of the throttle lever position, the secondary throttle adjustment lever is forced by a thumb of the operator to forcibly turn the throttle lever against a frictional force acting between the throttle lever and the handle portion.
