In measuring an optical characteristic at an anterior ocular segment of an eye (A) of examinee's, an adjustment of positional relationship between the eye (A) of examinee's and a measurement optical system is carried out by utilizing reflection lights (B, C, D), i.e., the light (B) generated by reflection of the irradiated light from the infrared L.E.D. (11) at the cornea, the light (C) generated by reflection of the laser light (E) from a laser light source at the cornea, and the light (D) generated by reflection of the laser light (E) from the laser light source at the crystalline lens.

    摘要: Disclosed is a novel aralkyl carboxylic acid compound which has an agonistic activity on GPR-120 and/or GPR-40, particularly GPR-120, and is therefore useful as an appetite regulator, an anti-obesity agent, a therapeutic agent for diabetes, a pancreatic beta differentiating cell growth enhancer, a therapeutic agent for metabolic syndrome, a therapeutic agent for a gastrointestinal disease, a therapeutic agent for a neuropathy, a therapeutic agent for a mental disorder, a therapeutic agent for a pulmonary disease, a therapeutic agent for a pituitary hormone secretion disorder or a lipid flavoring/seasoning agent. The aralkyl carboxylic acid compound is represented by the general formula (I).     摘要: A lightweight and compact hand-held ocular fundus imaging apparatus is provided wherein alignment can be easily performed while ensuring a working length. An examiner takes hold of a grip by hand and secures a face pad against part of the face of a patient. The examiner performs alignment by tilting a reflecting mirror, and when alignment is complete, an image of the fundus of the patient's eye is taken. An optical system except for the reflecting mirror is disposed on the inside of a main body portion that includes the grip and the face pad, and the reflecting mirror is disposed on the outside of the main body portion. A lever for tilting the reflecting mirror is disposed on the grip. With this type of configuration, the alignment operation can be performed easily and reliably by moving the reflecting mirror while maintaining the apparatus main body in a stable state.

    摘要: An outboard motor includes a power source, a boat propulsion section, a shift position switching mechanism, a clutch actuator, and a control device. The shift position switching mechanism switches among a first shift position in which a first clutch is engaged and a second clutch is disengaged, a second shift position in which the first clutch is disengaged and the second clutch is engaged, and a neutral position in which both the first clutch and the second clutch are disengaged. When a gear shift is to be made from the first shift position to the second shift position, the control section causes the clutch actuator to gradually increase an engagement force of the second clutch. The outboard motor reduces the load to be applied to the power source and the power transmission mechanism at the time of a gear shift in a boat propulsion system including an electronically controlled shift mechanism.

The shift position switching mechanism includes hydraulic clutches arranged to change the connection state between the engine and the propeller. The shift position switching mechanism is switchable among forward, reverse, and neutral. A first valve opens and closes the communication between the oil pump and a first hydraulic clutch. A second valve opens and closes the communication between the oil pump and a second hydraulic clutch. A third valve opens and closes the communication between the oil pump and each of third and fourth valves.

    摘要: A boat propulsion system includes a gear shift mechanism arranged to transmit a driving force generated by an engine to first and second propellers at one of at least a low speed reduction ratio and a high speed reduction ratio, and a control section arranged to perform control so as to shift a speed reduction ratio of the gear shift mechanism based on first and second gear shift control maps when an acceleration command from a user is detected. The first and second gear shift control maps define a region to shift the speed reduction ratio of the gear shift mechanism using two parameters, preferably a rotational speed of the engine and a lever opening degree of a lever of a control lever portion. The boat propulsion system achieves both the acceleration performance and the maximum speed desired by a user.
