    摘要： A connector includes barrels (19) formed in rear end parts of terminal fittings (15) and crimped to surround front end parts of coated wires (11). First to third molds (23A, 23B, 23C) each covering the front end part of the coated wire (11) including a crimped part to the barrel (19) in a liquid-tight manner. A housing (30) is formed with terminal accommodation chambers (31) each for accommodating the entire terminal fitting (15) and a front end area of the mold (23A, 23B, 23C), and first to third contacts (26A, 26B, 26C) each formed on a projection (25) of the mold (23A, 23B, 23C) projecting out from the housing (30) and configured to suppress deformation of the projection (25) of the mold (23A, 23B, 23C) by coming into contact with the housing (30).

    摘要： A wire with terminal, (10) includes a barrel (23) formed in a rear end part of a terminal fitting (15) such that two crimping pieces (27) extend from both widthwise side edges of a base plate (24) and crimped to surround an exposed area (14) of a core (12) with extending end parts (27E) of the crimping pieces (27) held close to each other, and a mold (30) covering the entire exposed area of the core (12) including a crimped part to the barrel (23) in a liquid-tight manner. A front end of the core (12) is disposed behind those of the crimping pieces (27). The barrel (23) is formed with a communicating portion (29) for causing a crimping space (28) of the barrel (23) to be open in an outer peripheral surface of the barrel (23) on a side before the front end of the core (12).

    摘要： A wire with terminal includes a wire in which a core is covered with a coating, and a terminal 20 including a wire barrel 24 to be crimped to the core exposed from the coating of the wire and an insulation barrel 26 to be crimped to the coating of the wire. The wire is pulled rearwardly from the terminal. Recesses 26B are provided on a surface of the insulation barrel 26 to be crimped and openings of the recesses 26B are shaped to become narrower toward a rear side. As the wire is pulled more rearwardly, the coating penetrating into the recesses 26B moves rearwardly of the recesses 26B to be compressed and hardened and becomes less likely to come out of the recesses 26B. Thus, impact strength can be enhanced.

    摘要： An object is to provide a technique by which a space in a vehicle in which a wire harness including a plurality of splice circuits is arranged can be reduced and good manufacturability at the time of manufacture can be achieved. A stacked connector is formed by joining a plurality of split connectors to each other. The split connectors each include a split connector housing provided with a plurality of terminal receiving chambers and a plurality of terminal-equipped electric wires that each include a terminal received in the terminal receiving chamber and an electric wire to which the terminal is connected. At least one of the split connector housings is provided with a locking portion having a protruding shape that protrudes outward to be capable of locking the terminal-equipped electric wire received in the split connector housing of a joining counterpart.
