    摘要: The present invention relates to a method, device (12) and computer program product for enabling detection of additional data embedded in a media signal that may have been subjected to scaling. The invention also relates to an additional data detecting device (10) comprising such a device for enabling detection. An envelope discriminating unit (ED) provides a first extracted narrow band envelope signal sample (we[n]) from an input media signal sample (yb[n]), and a variable scale down sampling unit (VSDS) down samples the narrow band envelope signal sample using a down sampling rate that is dependent on a scaling factor variable value (η) for providing at least one sample of a first additional data estimate (wn[k]) in order to allow the detection of additional data in said signal sample.

    摘要: A playlist of content items, e.g. songs, is automatically generated in which content items having features similar to features of a seed content item are selected. At least one feature of the seed content item is compared with at least one feature of each candidate content item to identify specific ones of the candidate content items that are similar to the seed content item. The identified candidate content items are then added to the playlist. Multiple features represent (e.g. are extracted from) different parts of a plurality of candidate content items and/or multiple features of the seed content item represent (e.g. are extracted from) different parts of the seed content item. The multiple features of the seed content item and/or of the candidate content items are compared with at least one feature of the seed content item or of the candidate content items.

    摘要: Method and apparatus are described for compensating for time offset in a received signal, so as to correctly align the frame sequence of a received signal to a sequence of transmitted symbols. Each symbol extends over Ts signal samples. The received signal is first divided into a sequence of frames of length Ts, and then each framedivided into a multiplicity of Nb sub-frames. Subsequently, Nb sequences of values are formed, where every successive value in each sequence is derived from the corresponding sub-frame within each successive frame. Each of the Nb sequences is an estimate for the correctly aligned sequence of transmitted symbols.

    摘要: The invention deals with matching of a watermark to a host sampling rate of a multimedia signal. A watermark sampled at a first sampling rate is matched to multimedia host signal sampled at a second sampling rate, in a process where the watermark sampled at the first sampling rate is received, a scaling factor between the first sampling rate and the second sampling rate is determined, and re-scale widths of the watermark symbols are set. A modified watermark is generated wherein the watermark symbols of the modified watermark being of re-scale widths, so as to substantially match the modified watermark sequences to the second sampling rate.

    摘要: An audio encoding scheme or a stream that encodes audio and video data is disclosed. The scheme has particular application in mezzanine-level coding in digital television broadcasting. The scheme has a mean effective audio frame length F that equals the video frame length 1/fV over an integral number M video frames, by provision of audio frames variable in length F in a defined sequence where length=F(j) at encoding. The length of the audio frames may be varied by altering the length of overlap between adjacent frames in accordance with an algorithm that repeats after a sequence of M frames. An encoder and a decoder for such a scheme are also disclosed.
