摘要： A card connector includes a housing having a receptacle to receive therein a card in an insertion direction and the card has a terminal member. A connection terminal is secured to the housing and is configured to contact the terminal member of the card. A card ejecting action detecting switch is configured to detect when the card is ejected from the housing. A card guide mechanism is provided with an urging member for urging the card in a direction opposite the insertion direction. The card guide mechanism is configured to hold the card at a locked position to ensure that the terminal member of the card is in contact with the connection terminal and to permit movement of the card in the opposite direction by a pushing force exerted on the card in the insertion direction. The card guide mechanism ejects the card after performing a pushing action on the card a plurality of times.

摘要： A card connector includes a housing having a receptacle to receive therein a card in an insertion direction and the card has a terminal member. A connection terminal is secured to the housing and is configured to contact the terminal member of the card. 摘要： A card connector is configured for receiving a generally rectangular card therein. The card has contact pads and generally parallel first and second sides with a cut-away portion formed in the first side in proximity to a front end of the card. The cut-away portion includes a short length extending from the front end generally parallel to the first side, and a tapered shoulder part extending from the short length to the first side. The connector includes an insulative housing with first and second spaced apart sidewalls that define a cavity therein for receiving the card in an insertion direction. A tapered surface is provided adjacent the first sidewall to guide an improperly inserted card at an angle to the insertion direction and a second sidewall recess is formed in the second sidewall to permit entrance of a corner part of such improperly inserted card. A plurality of electrically conductive terminals are mounted in the housing and configured to engage the contact pads of the card upon proper insertion of the card into the housing. A metal shell is also mounted on the housing.

摘要： A surface mount connector is disclosed having an improved terminal construction that avoid shorting between adjacent terminal contact portions, while maintaining a multi-pole structure with a reduced pitch of the terminal solder tail portions. The connector has an insulative connector housing with a plurality of terminals loaded in the housing on opposite sides of an opposing connector engaging slot. The terminals have contact that face into the slot and which are arranged in parallel in a predetermined pitch. Solder tail portions of the terminals extend underneath portions of the terminals and are arranged in parallel in a pitch that is one-half that of the pitch of the terminal contact portions.

摘要： An intermediate connector for engaging a surface mount connector and a cable connector contains conductive terminals in a body portion. The body portion is cooperatively defined by distinct and separate terminal contact support portions that are affixed to opposite ends of the connector terminals. The support portions may be affixed to the connector terminals from different directions and thus eliminates the need for a complex, molded connector housing. The support portions and the terminals are held together and aligned together by a retainer and a spacer is provided to maintain a desired spacing between the terminals of the connector.

摘要： An improved insulation displacement terminal is formed by punching it from a metal blank. The terminal is folded upon itself to form distinct first and second body portions, each of which ends in an upright line-contacting element. The folded over portion of the terminal defines a first contact beam while a second contact beam extends from alongside the terminal and posses underneath the first contact beam to form a terminal-receiving passage therein for an opposing connector terminal.
