摘要： An album creating apparatus for crating an album by automatically selecting an appropriate image to be laid out in an image layout frame arranged in a template and laying out the selected image in the image layout frame is provided. The album creating apparatus according to the present invention includes: a classification method storage section for classifying images into groups in association with the kind of album; an image input section; a kind of album determining section for determining the kind of album to be created; an in image classification section for classifying the images into the groups based on the classification method stored in the classification method storage section in association with the kind of album; a template storage section for storing a template in which the image layout frame with which the classified group is associated is arranged; and an album creating section for laying out in an image layout frame the image classified into the group associated with the image layout frame to create the album.
