Abstract:
INSECTICIDES CONTAINING (A) PYRETHRINS, CARBAMATES OR PHOSPHORIC ESTERS AND (B) AN IMIDAZOLE OR IMIDAZOLE SALT IN THE WEIGHT RATIO OF 1:10 TO 1:1 AND PROCESSES OF INSECT CONTROL THEREWITH.
Abstract:
Imidazoles and salts thereof, the imidazoles being N-substituted by alkyl having 12 or 13 carbon atoms, alkoxyalkyl wherein the alkoxy portion has 2-13 carbon atoms and the alkyl portion has 113 carbon atoms, dimethoxy- or diethoxyethyl or unsubstituted or substituted phenoxy-methoxyethyl, and uses in insecticide compositions in admixture with pyrethrins, carbamates or phosphoric esters in the weight ratio of 1:10 to 1:1.
Abstract:
PRODUCTION OF IMIDAZOLES SUBSTITUTED ON NITROGEN BY REACTING IMIDAZOLES WITH ALIPHATIC ALCOHOLS OR ETHERS AT 200450*C. IN THE PRESENCE OF, AS CATALYST, ALUMINA, PUMICE OR TITANIUM OXIDE HAVING AT LEAST 5% PHOSPHORIC ACID DEPOSITED THEREON OR ALUMINA IMPREGNATED WITH AT LEAST 5% OF CA(H2PO4)2 OR THORIUM OXIDE IN AN AMOUNT EQUIVALENT TO AT LEAST 5% TH(NO3)4. THE PRODUCTS ARE VALUABLE INTERMEDIATE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF DYES, TEXTILE AUXILIARIES AND INSECTICIDES.
