Abstract: The present invention relates to uses and methods for combating or controlling bed bugs, by applying a mixture comprising alpha-cypermethrin and dinotefuran. The mixture is applied in a weight ratio of from 500:1 to 1:500 to said bed bugs, their habitat, breeding grounds or inside human habitation buildings. The treatment is done preferably in the bedroom, preferably to the bed or parts thereof, or to upholstered furniture.
