摘要: The present invention relates to a fluid-absorbent article, comprising a fluid-absorbent core, comprising from 0 to 90% by weight fibrous material and from 10 to 100% by weight water-absorbent polymer particles having a mean sphericity (SPHT) from 0.8 to 0.95, based on the sum of water-absorbent polymer particles and fibrous material;and an acquisition-distribution layer between having a three dimensional apertured structure having a femal side (5) and a male side (6), wherein the femal side presents a multiplicity of openings extending in the form of through holes in the direction of a lower surface of the same structure being the male side, wherein the quantity of the water absorbent polymer particles within the fluid absorbent core is at least 3 g.

摘要: A belt drier arrangement for drying an aqueous polymer gel and for comminuting the dried polymer gel to give dried polymer particles, having: a belt drier having a drier setup and a conveyor belt for receiving and for drying the aqueous polymer gel to give a dry cake or fragments on a receiving surface of the conveyor belt, and a comminution arrangement, disposed downstream of the drier setup in product flow direction, for comminution of the dried polymer gel of the dry cake or fragments to give dried comminuted polymer particles. The comminution arrangement has a comminutor in the form of a milling drum which is disposed with an upper working line of a working edge of the milling drum at the level of or above a receiving surface of a conveyor belt, for mill processing of the dry cake or of the fragments, where the milling drum is designed to eject comminuted dried polymer particles of the dry cake or of the fragments in the downward direction.

摘要: Described herein is a feminine hygiene absorbent article, including: (A) an upper liquid-pervious layer, (B) a lower liquid-impervious layer, (C) a fluid-absorbent core between the layer (A) and the layer (B), including 5% to 50% by weight of water-absorbent polymer particles G and not more than 95% by weight of fibrous material, based on the sum of water-absorbent polymer particles G and fibrous material; (D) an optional acquisition-distribution layer between (A) and (C), (E) an optional tissue layer disposed immediately above and/or below (C); and (F) other optional components, where the water-absorbent polymer particles G are obtainable by agglomerating a blend of non-surface post-crosslinked fine water-absorbent polymer particles and surface post-crosslinked fine water-absorbent polymer particles, and drying, grinding, sieving and classifying the agglomerated water-absorbent polymer particles.
