POLYAMIDE MOULDNG MATERIAL WHICH CAN BE MORE EASILY REMOVED FROM THE MOULD ARE OBTAINED BY ADDING TO THE POLYAIDE A COMBINATION CONSISTING OF (A) A MOULD PARTING AGENT A WHICH HAS AN EMULSIFYING ACTION AND IS COMPATIBEL WITH THE POLYAMIDE, AND (B) A MOULD PARTING AGENT B WHICH IS INCOMPATIBEL WITH THE POLYAMIDE.

A PROCESS FOR THE POLYMERIZATION OF A LATAM HAVING AT LEAST 7 RING MEMBERS IN THE PRESENCE OF A CATALYTIC QUANTITY OF AN INORGANIC OR ORGANIC OXY ACID OF PHOSPHORUS WHEREIN THE CATALYST IS ADDED TO THE MONOMERIC LACTAM MELT OF AT LEAST 200*C. UNDER RAPID STIRRING AND THE CATALYST-CONTAINING LACTAM MELT IS SUBSEQUENTLY HEATED TO A POLYMERIZATION TEMPERATURE OF FROM 280 TO 340*C.
Abstract:
Filler-containing polyamide mixtures of improved impact strength said fillers being minerals from the feldspar group, and a process for the production of said polyamide mixtures. The content of the filler material is of from 1 to 70 percent, preferably of from 10 to 50 percent, by weight based on the total mixture. Additionally, the mixture can contain an organosilicon compound in an amount of from 0.001 to 1 percent by weight, based on the mineral, of the feldspar group as adhesion promoter.
