摘要: A liquid crystal display panel includes a first polarizer, a second polarizer, a liquid crystal layer including first liquid crystal molecules, a first optical compensation layer between the liquid crystal layer and any of the first polarizer and the second polarizer, a second optical compensation layer on a same side of the liquid crystal layer as the first optical compensation layer. In a non-powered state of the liquid crystal display panel orthographic projections of optical axes of the first liquid crystal molecules on the first polarizer, which are perpendicular to an orthographic projection of an optical axis of the first optical compensation layer on the first polarizer, are parallel to any of transmission axes of the first polarizer and the second polarizer that are perpendicular to each other. An optical axis of the second optical compensation layer is perpendicular to a plane where the second optical compensation layer is located.

摘要: Provided are a display panel and a method for preparing same, and a display apparatus. The display panel includes an array substrate and an opposite substrate, which are oppositely arranged, and a liquid crystal layer, which is arranged between the array substrate and the opposite substrate, wherein a compensation layer is arranged on the array substrate or the opposite substrate, and an included angle between an optical axis direction of the compensation layer and an initial optical axis direction of liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer is less than or equal to 10 degrees; dispersion characteristics of the liquid crystal layer and the compensation layer are the opposite of each other.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a liquid crystal display panel and a display device. The panel comprises a first and second polarizers, a liquid crystal layer, a first and second optical compensation films. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the opposite first and second polarizers; the first optical compensation film is located between the first polarizer and the liquid crystal layer, and an optical axis of the first optical compensation film is parallel to a plane where the first optical compensation film is in; and the second optical compensation film is located between the first and second polarizers, an optical axis of the second optical compensation film is parallel to a plane where the second optical compensation film is in and perpendicular to the optical axis of the first optical compensation film, and in-plane retardations of the first and second optical compensation films are equal.

摘要: A display apparatus includes an array substrate; a counter substrate facing the array substrate; a liquid crystal layer between the array substrate and the counter substrate; at least one optical compensation film between the array substrate and the counter substrate, extending throughout a display area of the display apparatus; a control electrode between the array substrate and the counter substrate, extending throughout the display area of the display apparatus; and a back light configured to provide light for image display. The liquid crystal layer in a dark state has a first phase retardation. Under control of the control electrode, the at least one optical compensation film gives a second phase retardation when the liquid crystal layer is in the dark state. A sum of the first phase retardation and the second phase retardation is substantially same as an integral multiple of a wavelength of light emitted from the back light.

An orthogonal projection of an optic axis of the second optical compensation layer on the first base is perpendicular to the orthogonal projection of the optic axis of the first optical compensation layer on the first base.

摘要: A liquid crystal display panel (100) comprises a first polarizer (110) and a second polarizer (170), a first liquid crystal layer (130) disposed between the first polarizer (110) and the second polarizer (170), and an optical compensation layer (140) disposed between the first liquid crystal layer (130) and one of the first polarizer (110) and the second polarizer (170). A transmission axis of the first polarizer (110) is perpendicular to a transmission axis of the second polarizer (170). The first liquid crystal layer (130) includes first liquid crystal molecules (130′). An included angle (γ) between an orthographic projection of an optical axis of a first liquid crystal molecule (130′) on the first polarizer (110), which is perpendicular to an orthographic projection of an optical axis of the optical compensation layer (140) on the first polarizer (110), and the transmission axis of the first polarizer (110) is an acute angle.

摘要: A liquid crystal display panel includes a first and second base substrates, a liquid crystal layer and an optical compensation layer. In the liquid crystal layer, a first alignment film is configured to make a part of second liquid crystal molecules proximate to the first alignment film have a first pretilt angle, a second alignment film is configured to make a part of second liquid crystal molecules proximate to the second alignment film have a second pretilt angle. In the optical compensation layer, a third alignment film is configured to make first liquid crystal molecules proximate to the third alignment film have a third pretilt angle. A direction of orthogonal projections of long axes of the first liquid crystal molecules is parallel to or perpendicular to a direction of orthogonal projections of long axes of second liquid crystal molecules anchored by the first alignment film and the second alignment film.
