摘要: The present application relates to a virtual reality display device and a control method thereof. The method comprises: acquiring time required for three-dimensional scene rendering when three-dimensional scene rendering is performed on a frame of image to be displayed (S11); and selecting a mode of local backlight dimming according to the time required for three-dimensional scene rendering and a predetermined screen refresh rate, wherein the greater the time required for three-dimensional scene rendering, the less the time required for the selected mode of the local backlight dimming (S12).

The method includes: in response to receiving an Nth frame synchronization signal, acquiring an (N+1)th frame image to be displayed and pixel data of pixels in the (N+1)th frame image to be displayed (S12); calculating backlight brightness data of a display screen according to the pixel data by a backlight algorithm (S14); in response to receiving an (N+1)th frame synchronization signal, synchronously sending the (N+1)th frame image to be displayed and the backlight brightness data to the display screen and a backlight driving board respectively (S16). 摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for controlling a virtual reality display device, wherein the virtual reality display device includes a display, an optical system, and a movement controller. In this method, an anti-distortion image is generated based on the original image according to distortion parameters of the optical system. The anti-distortion image includes an effective image area and an invalid image area, wherein the effective image area includes image information of the original image. The movement control information is written into the invalid image area, and the movement control information is used by the movement controller to control the movement of the display. The anti-distortion image is provided to the virtual reality display device.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for driving a display device to display an image sequence and a display device therefor. The display device includes a backlight module having a plurality of backlight partitions. The image sequence includes at least a first frame image and a second frame image. The method includes determining a first region in the first frame image and a second region in the second frame image that correspond to an overlapping portion of the first frame image and second frame image as overlapping regions; obtaining, based at least partially on a first backlight value of a first backlight partition(s) corresponding to the first region, a second backlight value of a second backlight partition corresponding to the second region; and controlling a backlight brightness of the second backlight partition based on the second backlight value when the display device displays the second frame image.
