Abstract:
Thallium iron fluoride (T1FeF3) appears to be isostructural with RbFeF3. Described device uses depend primarily on the magnetooptic effect below the Curie temperature of about 77* K.
Abstract:
Ferric fluoride evidences a magneto-optic effect of device interest over a board frequency range including the major part of the visible spectrum. Modulators and isolators, either continuous or pulsed, may be operated over this entire frequency range at room temperature. Precautions to be taken to avoid flawing during growth of the material are described.
Abstract:
Light output in the visible spectrum results from up conversion of infrared radiation within a composition illustrated by erbiumdoped BaYbF5. The composition may be used as a coating on an infrared-emitting GaAs diode.
