Abstract: A method and device for introducing inner tubes which are inflated to a predetermined pressure into tyres, and especially inner tubes of the so-called ''''puncture-proof'''' type. The inner tube is deformed so that the two opposite faces of its inner wall are substantially in contact and is then introduced into an ovalized guide tube terminating in a funnel having an obliquely oriented circular orifice. The orifice is introduced into the opening of the tyre and the inner tube is thrust into the tyre by the ram of a jack. The inner tube is prevented from escaping by virtue of a deflector which is placed in the opposite opening of the tyre.
