摘要： An aperture, in a rigid housing enclosing a space or volume, is closed by utilizing a cover opening under explosive pressure and cooperating with the housing. The cover is maintained closed by exerting, between the cover and the housing, an elastic holding force which collapses abruptly to zero value on being overcome by explosive pressure within the housing. The cover may be hinged to the housing and may be provided with detent means for releasably latching it in the closed position. Where the housing aperture is of substantial size, two such covers may be used.
