Abstract: A cover assembly and a battery comprising the same are provided. The cover assembly comprises: a cover plate body formed with at least a via hole penetrating therethrough; a cover plate connecting member hermetically connected with the cover plate body at the via hole, which is formed with an electrode receiving hole therein; and an electrode terminal penetrating through the electrode receiving hole to be hermetically connected with and insulated from the cover plate connecting member for leading out a current.
