摘要: A solid polymeric electrolyte which is a two phase interpenetrating networkf a mechanically supporting phase of a continuous network of a crosslinked polymer and an ionic conducting phase comprising a metal salt complexing liquid polymer which is a liquid poly(ethylene oxide), poly(propylene oxide), or poly(ethylene imine) complexed with a suitable metal salt. The mechanically supporting phase forms a matrix which supports the interpenetrating ionic conducting liquid polymer phase which provides continuous paths of high conductivity in all directions throughout the matrix.

摘要: An air-dryable resin includes a reaction product of an intromolecular acid anhydride and an ester of an unsaturated fatty acid tripentaerythritol. Before curing, air-dryable resins of the present invention are dispersible in alkaline water. After curing, air-dryable resins of the present invention are resistant to chemical and physical attack.

摘要: Disclosed in this invention are copolymers containing about 0.5% to about 20%, by weight, of a C.sub.10 -C.sub.36 monoepoxide and about 99.5% to about 80%, by weight, of a 1,3 dioxolane. These copolymers are useful in increasing the viscosity of aqueous systems employed in various end uses, such as coatings and hydraulic fluids.
