摘要: A method for operating a forming press which includes a plurality of press components and a plurality of tool components. The forming press has at least one force sensor and at least one force actuator, each arranged in a press and/or tool component. A forming simulation is carried out, which takes into consideration an elastic behavior of the press and/or tool components. Target values of forces acting on at least one press and/or tool component are determined by the forming simulation. A forming process is carried out by the forming press. During the forming process, actual values of forces acting on the press and/or tool components are measured by the force sensor and the force actuator is actuated via a control loop such that the actual values correspond to the target values from the forming simulation.

摘要: A tool for pressing at least one auxiliary joining element together with a workpiece formed separately from the auxiliary joining element, includes two tool elements which can move towards one another along a movement direction and can thereby move out of an open position into a closed position, between which the workpiece and the auxiliary joining element can be arranged, such that the auxiliary joining element can be pressed together with the workpiece in a joining region of the workpiece by moving the tool elements into the closed position. At least one spring element is retained on the tool elements, and is elastically deformable along the movement direction and thereby transferable out of an initial state into a deformation state, and adopts the initial state in the open position of the tool elements. The workpiece can be supported at least in the open position on the spring element.

摘要: A pressure pin of a press, in particular a forming press, for transferring a force to a tool component of the press includes a pin body, a sensor element arranged in the pin body for measuring a force which can be transferred via the pressure pin, and an actuator unit arranged in the pin body which has a functional body made of an adaptive material. The adaptive material is designed such that the rheological properties thereof and/or the length thereof and/or the volume thereof can be selectively modified as a function of an electrical and/or magnetic field.

摘要: A workpiece composite and a method for producing the workpiece composite having at least two workpieces are provided. A first workpiece and a second workpiece are positioned relative to each other, and an integral connection between the end face of the first workpiece and the second workpiece is formed in a joint section by way of a thermal joining method. Prior to forming the integral connection, the first workpiece is provided with an indentation or embossing, which adjoins the end face, at least in the joint section, whereby the thickness of the first workpiece is reduced in the region of the end face.
