Abstract: A portable LED lamp can be removably attached to a stand. The stand has connectors that are usable to retain the lamp as well as supply power to the lamp from an external-power supply source. The connectors can also serve as pivot points for a user to pivot the portable LED lamp when it is attached to the stand. In some embodiments, a dual level circuit board assembly is also provided for the portable LED lamp, with LEDs coupled to both levels of the circuit board assembly.
