Abstract: A connector assembly for a modular medical device is described herein. The connector assembly includes a main body, a printed circuit board, a frame, an elastomeric sealing structure, and a plurality of contacts. The printed circuit is disposed in the main body and has a plurality of electrical contacts. The frame is configured to be attached to the main body and includes a central opening. The elastomeric sealing structure is disposed in the central opening. The plurality of contacts are each sealingly disposed in the elastomeric sealing structure, each arranged in contact with a corresponding one of the electrical contacts on the printed circuit, and each movable upon deformation of the elastomeric sealing structure.

Abstract: The present disclosure is related primarily to a charging case for earphones. The earphones may include a core module and a hook structure connected to the core module. The charging case may include a lower housing assembly provided with a profiling groove for accommodating the earphones, the profiling groove includes a first profiling groove region corresponding to the core module and a second profiling groove region corresponding to the hook structure; when the earphones are accommodated in the profiling groove, in an extension direction of the hook structure, a movable gap between a portion of the hook structure away from the core module and a side wall of the second profiling groove region is greater than a movable gap between the core module and a side wall of the first profiling groove region. With such arrangement, a success rate of the earphones entering the charging case can be improved.

Abstract: An implantable connector utilizing having improved electrical and mechanical properties is described herein. In one aspect, the implantable connector utilizes electrical contact pins fabricated from a corrosion resistant metal alloy, such as platinum-iridium, that engage longitudinally and include one or more urging members on a proximal portion of the pin so as to provide at least a desired contact force between conductively coupled pins. Such a configuration allows contact between contact pins to be maintained in applications where the connector may be subject to movement and further allows for reduced resistance so as to allow transmission of voltages and current associated with higher powered implanted devices. In some embodiments, the urging member is defined as a helical cut potion in one or both electrical contacts. Methods of use and manufacture of such connectors are also provided herein.
