    摘要: A method, system, and computer readable media are provided for transmitting multi-user packets in an evolution data only (EVDO) network. Upon receipt of the data rate control requests of access terminals in the network, an access node can group particular access terminals into groups of shared data rate control access terminals. The access node will generate and later send a multi-user packet based on the requested data rate control of a group of shared data rate control access terminals. The transmission of the multi-user packet shall be accomplished at the requested data rate control of the group of shared data rate control access terminals.

    摘要: In a wireless communication system, a wireless access node provides a wireless communication service to wireless communication devices over a first frequency band class and over a second frequency band class. A control system identifies a subset of the wireless communication devices operating over the first frequency band class that have been in an idle mode for a time period that exceeds a threshold. The wireless access node transfers a signal to the subset of the wireless communication devices to transition from the first frequency band class to the second frequency band class. The wireless access node then provides the wireless communication service to at least some of the subset of the wireless communication devices over the second frequency band class.

    摘要: Various systems and methods are provided to manage and operate a wireless communication system. A processing system receives an application data flow from a wireless device located in a sector of a base station. The application data flow comprises a plurality of data packets. At least one of the data packets is inspected for an attribute. Also, an application data flow characteristic is measured for the application data flow. The processing system evaluates the attribute and the application data flow characteristic against a network policy associated with the wireless device. When the attribute and the application data flow characteristic meet the network policy, the processing system provides a wireless communication adjustment notification to the base station.
