    摘要: A brace assembly provides support to a railroad rail, such as for a switch. The rail is supported on a tie plate. A wedge block is secured to the tie plate adjacent the rail. A groove is located in the inner wall of the wedge block. The groove extends longitudinally between the side walls and is spaced between the upper and lower sides of the wedge block. A brace has a tapered upper edge and a tapered lower edge that engage the rail. The brace has a tongue that extends outward from the base into the groove. The tongue and groove have widths that decrease from one side to the other. Moving the brace longitudinally relative to the wedge block enables the brace to be wedged between the wedge block and the rail. A spring clip secures the brace to the wedge block.

    摘要: A bridge joint for use with a railroad track having standard rail sections with flanges. The bridge joint includes a fixed point having a forward integral accepting portion with a point and flanges rearward of the accepting portion. The joint also has a moveable body having a forward interface portion adapted to be slidingly accepted in the accepting portion. The moveable body has a notch adapted to accept the point. Clamping lugs are positioned on the accepting portion and the interface portion. The fixed point and the moveable body are clamped to base plates and quick release fasteners are positioned to engage the flanges of the fixed point, moveable body, and a flange of each of the standard rail sections and secure all to the base plates.

    摘要: A bridge joint for use with a railroad track having standard rail sections with flanges. The bridge joint includes a fixed point section having an integral accepting portion with a point and laterally spaced side walls, and a standard rail abutting portion. The joint also has a moveable point section having a yoke portion with a point and laterally spaced side walls, and a standard rail abutting portion. A rocker arm has a moveable interface portion adapted to be pivotally attached to said yoke portion and a fixed interface portion adapted to be received in said accepting portion. Clamping lugs arc positioned on the side walls of the accepting portion and the yoke portion. The fixed point section and the moveable point section are clamped to base plates with clamping members that engage the clamping lugs. Quick release fasteners are positioned to engage flanges along the fixed point section, moveable point section, and a flange of each of the standard rail sections and secure all to the base plates such that they are removable from the topside of the base plates.
