    摘要: An electrical interconnection system for linear lighting including a first electrical harness having a first electrical connector with a first plurality of terminals, and a first plurality of electrical conductors electrically connected to respective first terminals. A second electrical harness includes a second electrical connector with a second plurality of terminals, and a second plurality of electrical conductors electrically connected to respective second terminals. The second plurality of terminals are similar in shape to the first plurality of terminals. The first and second electrical harnesses are configured for connection to a first and second linear light, respectively. An electrical coupler is electrically connected to both the first electrical connector and the second electrical connector and includes a first port and a second port which each have a plurality of coupler terminals complimentary in shape with the first plurality of terminals and the second plurality of terminals.

    摘要: A modular furniture power distribution system has a plurality of multiconductor electrical cables (42, 44, 46, 48, 62), each having an electrical connector (98, 100, 102) at a first and second ends. There are at least two upstanding partition panels (58), each having an elongated generally horizontally extending channel or raceway (60) for receiving a corresponding electrical cable, and a stanchion or leg (68, 70, 72, 74) for supporting juxtaposed partition panel ends. The support stanchion forms an obstacle precluding direct communication between adjacent partition channels because it provides inadequate clearance to accommodate an electrical coupling between the electrical connector in one channel and the corresponding electrical connector in the other panel. A collar (80) at least partially encircles the leg or other support structure and forms an electrical coupling for circumventing the obstacle and electrically coupling a connector of the cable in one channel with a corresponding connector of the cable in the other channel. A pair of electrical connectors (84, 88) at opposite ends of the collar are adapted to mate with corresponding cable connectors (98, 100) and the mating cable connector and collar connector pairs engage and disengage by relative motion in the direction (90) of channel elongation.

    摘要: A modular furniture power distribution system includes at least two multiconductor electrical cables, at least two upstanding partition panels, a stanchion for supporting juxtaposed partition panel ends, and a collar. Each of the at least two multiconductor electrical cables have an electrical connector at a first end thereof. Each of the at least two upstanding partition panels have an elongated generally horizontally extending channel for receiving a corresponding electrical cable. The stanchion forms an obstacle precluding direct communication between adjacent partition channels and providing inadequate clearance to accommodate electrical coupling between the electrical connectors. The collar at least partially encircles the stanchion and forms an electrical coupling for circumventing the obstacle and electrically coupling the connector of the cable in one channel with a corresponding connector of the cable in the other channel. The collar includes a pair of electrical connectors at opposite ends of the collar, each of the electrical connectors being adapted to mate with a corresponding cable connector, the mating cable connector and collar electrical connector pairs engaging and disengaging by relative motion in the direction of channel elongation.

    摘要: A refrigerant recovery system that includes a plurality of refrigerant storage containers, each having a refrigerant inlet port and facility for indicating quantity of refrigerant in the container. A refrigerant recovery unit for withdrawing refrigerant from equipment under service includes an outlet port and internal control for enabling operation of the refrigerant recovery unit to provide a flow of recovered refrigerant at the outlet port withdrawn from the equipment under service. A refrigerant flow control manifold connects the refrigerant recovery unit to the plurality of storage containers. The flow control manifold includes control electronics responsive to indication of refrigerant quantity in the several containers for automatically connecting the outlet port of the recovery unit to each of the plurality of containers as quantity of refrigerant in each container in turn reaches a preselected level. The manifold control is also coupled to the control circuitry of the refrigerant recovery unit, and is responsive to quantity of refrigerant in the several storage containers, for preventing operation of the refrigerant recovery unit when all of the containers are full.

    摘要: A modular furniture component such as an electrified relatively thin panel has electrical wiring in a raceway near a downwardly depending adjustable leveler leg and a pluggable multiconductor cable for connecting the raceway electrical wiring with another modular furniture component. The components may each comprise a relatively thin upstanding generally rectangular modular office wall panel having an electrical wiring containing raceway near a bottom edge. Adjacent panels have the raceways generally horizontally aligned with one another. In one form, apparatus and method is disclosed for routing the power and data cables/conductors out of the bottom of the panels next to threaded leveler legs and back up into the adjacent panel. The cable is located closely adjacent a thinnest portion of the adjustable leveler leg and has a portion thereof displaced vertically below each raceway. The cables are enclosed in a removable device that clamshells around the legs with the clamshell located beneath a lowermost portion of the raceway for enclosing portions of the leveler leg and cable. The clamshell cable housings can be in a variety of shapes to accommodate any combination of panel intersections with straight, parallel, 90°, “T”, cross or four-way, and 120° described. In another form, the panel support posts are modified to present a thin portion of leveler legs about which the cables may be routed in horizontal alignment with the raceways.

    摘要: A refrigerant handling system that includes a compressor for pumping refrigerant through the system, and an evaporator connected to the compressor inlet for ensuring that refrigerant fed to the compressor inlet is in vapor phase. A first bulb containing refrigerant is sealingly coupled to the first pressure input of the valve, and is positioned so as to supply a first control pressure to the valve as a function of vapor pressure of refrigerant in the bulb at the temperature of refrigerant entering the evaporator. A second bulb containing the same type of refrigerant is sealingly coupled to the second pressure input of the valve, and is positioned to supply a control pressure to the second valve input as a function of vapor pressure of refrigerant at the temperature of refrigerant exiting the evaporator.
