Abstract: There is provided an image recording apparatus including: a conveyer; a carriage; a recording head; a memory; and a controller. The controller is configured to cause the conveyer to convey a recording medium in a conveyance direction such that dot recording ranges are partially overlapped with each other in the conveying operation. In a case that a predetermined condition is fulfilled, the controller is configured to cause the recording head to record a dot including a correcting portion by correcting discharge, and in a case that the predetermined condition is not fulfilled, the controller is configured to cause the recording head to record the dot including the correcting portion by ordinary discharge.

Abstract: A printing apparatus includes a print execution section and a controller. The print execution section includes: a printing head having nozzles from which ink is discharged; a main-scan section configured to execute main-scan in which the printing head moves along a main-scan direction relative to a printing medium; and a sub-scan section configured to execute sub-scan in which the printing medium moves along a sub-scan direction relative to the printing head. The controller obtains object image data indicating an object image formed by pixels, generates pieces of partial printing data by processing the object image data in an order from a downstream side toward an upstream side in the sub-scan direction, and causes the print execution section to execute, a plurality of times, the sub-scan and partial printing in which ink is discharged from the printing head during the main-scan by use of the pieces of partial printing data.

Abstract: There is provided a feed apparatus including a support unit, a feed roller, a swingable arm to support the feed roller, a guide unit, a movable member movable to a retracted position and a protruding position at which the movable member can abut against the sheet supported by the support unit, a driving source, driving transmission units; and a contact-separating mechanism to move the feed roller to a separated position and an abutment position at which the feed roller abuts against the sheet supported by the support unit. In a state in which the movable member is the protruding position and the feed roller is the separated position, a time required to start feeding of the sheet by the feed roller moved from the separated position to the abutment position is longer than a time required to shift the movable member from the protruding position to the retracted position.

After the liquid is jetted from the head on the first area, the conveyance roller and the discharge roller are driven to convey the sheet at a second velocity slower than the first velocity and to discharge the sheet on the tray, or conveyance of the sheet is stopped for a predefined time and then the sheet is conveyed at the first velocity to be discharged on the tray.

Abstract: An electronic device is configured to acquire image data containing a test pattern including first and second patterns intersecting with each other. Pixels corresponding to the test pattern are determined by comparing brightness of each pixel with a threshold value, and widths of an overlapped image of the first and second patterns in an orthogonal direction at a plurality of different positions in the reference direction are calculated. Intersecting positions of the first pattern and the second pattern in the test pattern is detected based on a distribution of widths at the plurality of different positions. The test pattern has a model pattern having a set width in the orthogonal direction separate from the first and second patterns. The pixels corresponding to the test pattern are determined based on a threshold value, and widths at the plurality of positions of the overlapped image in the reference direction are calculated.
