摘要： A barricade is provided for crowd control. The barricade includes a first frame support member having an upper end, a lower end, an upper opening adapted for receiving an end of a first upper beam therein and a lower opening. A second frame support member is positioned at an acute angle to the first support frame member and has an upper end, a lower end adjacent the lower end of the first frame support member, an upper opening adapted for receiving an end of a second upper beam therein and a lower opening. A lower beam has a first end receivable in the lower opening of the first frame support member and a second end receivable in the lower opening of the second frame support member to interconnect the first and second frame support members.

摘要： A personalized entertainment and information platform (Sphere) which provides personalized content delivery across different platforms and modes of delivery. A personal media device (e.g., PC, television, and so forth) interacts with a control server configured for accessing media content and metadata over the Internet. In response to input from the user and the history of user media selection and viewing, a prioritized recommendation list is generated and queued for downloading. The associated content is then downloaded automatically to the personal media device, without the need of user interaction. At this time the user can access the downloaded content immediately without a lengthy delay in waiting for content downloading. It will be appreciated that content such as shows and movies in HD format are of significant size (e.g., up to 50 GB) which would require significant download time, and tie up network and system resources.

摘要： A pollutant control apparatus for mounting in a grate frame used for protecting a water inlet comprising a basin frame and a flexible basin. The basin frame is adapted for disposition upon the grate frame. The flexible basin affixed to the basin frame is made of an open mesh material. In a curb and gutter water inlet, the pollutant control apparatus can optionally further comprise a fabric filter and an inset. The fabric filter is disposed substantially within the flexible basin frame for collecting sediment. The inset is disposed adjacent to the basin frame for securing the fabric filter against the basin frame. The present invention can also be used in a manhole water inlet. In another embodiment of the invention where the water inlet further comprises a shaft disposed under the grate frame, the basin frame further comprises an extension member affixed to the basin frame. The extension member is adapted for attachment to the water inlet shaft.

摘要： An apparatus for cleaning liquid-filled tanks, e.g., aquariums, includes an inner cleaning assembly which moves across the interior wall of the tank and an outer cleaning assembly which moves across the exterior wall of the tank. The inner and outer cleaning assembly are magnetically attracted to each other so that manipulation of the outer cleaning assembly results in corresponding motion of the inner cleaning assembly. The inner cleaning assembly bears a cleaning pad which moves across the tank wall to clean matter therefrom. The inner cleaning assembly is buoyant so that interruption of the magnetic engagement between the inner and outer cleaning assemblies results in the inner cleaning assembly floating to the top of the liquid-filled tank for easier retrieval. One or more accessory attachment members may be provided, each of which is removably attachable to the inner cleaning assembly, and these may bear scrapers and/or coarser or finer cleaning pads so as to allow the inner cleaning assembly to be adapted for desired cleaning operations.
